Hokkaidō, Japan
Some encounters are difficult to describe with words. This one is one of them.
This young fox was trying to catch some small animals under the snow when I stumbled on it. I lay in the snow, hoping that it would accept my presence and that I would resume my hunting activity so I could immortalize the moment it would jump in the snow, trying to catch some food (which happened a few minutes later).
Somehow, time stopped for 15 minutes, and what I saw that day on my viewfinder was worth all the gold in the world.
